Learn about the Māori culture that is an integral part of Kiwi life. The tangata whenua are the indigenous people of New Zealand and you’ll find organised tours to the tribal meeting grounds known as marae which showcase their customs and culture.
You will experience warmer temperatures during December to March but as New Zealand has a varied micro climate you can expect four seasons in one day. Colder months are August to October when there is higher chance of snowfall and another fantastic time to visit and see the crystal clear skies glistening against the snow covered landscapes.
