Head south east to the city of Xian where the highlight of your visit will be to the Terracotta Army depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. The final stop on your tour of China takes you west to China’s biggest city, Shanghai. The heart of the city, Bund is a famous waterfront promenade lined with colonial era buildings. For this join‐in tour, the tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel at around 07:30am‐08:00am. Driving to visit the Ming Tombs where lie the mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Changling Tomb, mausoleum of the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty Zhu Di, is the best preserved tomb area with the most emperors buried. Every year millions of tourists come to the site to appreciate its long history and palatial architecture. In the morning, you will visit the Changling Tomb.
Lunch will be served at the Jade Carving Artistic Center, and you will have time to see the unique carving craft.
In the afternoon, continue to visit Great Wall at Badaling, which is one of the most famous Great Wall sections. It is famous for its deep‐rooted culture, magnificent sights and complete military facilities ‐ the essence of the Great Wall. You may find many pictures of it in magazines and guide books and printed on stamps. Being the must‐see section of the Great Wall, it is sometimes flocked with visitors especially during holidays.
At the end of the tour, drive back to downtown and visit the Traditional Royal Silk Center on the way.

Catch your breath over a delicious traditional Chinese lunch and then head to the Temple of Heaven: China's largest temple complex. This beautiful circular building was used to make offerings to heaven for a good harvest by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties from 1420. Finally, explore the Summer Palace which was the number one retreat for the emperors for 800 years and it is made up of a beautiful park, stunning temples and the world’s longest art gallery. Xian has won over the hearts of people all over the world, famous for its fascinating past and its ancient artefacts! Known for its famous Terracota Warriors and its wonderful Silk Road that used to be the main trade network between the East and the West, this trip should definitely not be missed!
We start the day with an interesting visit to the Banpo Museum, built on the excavations site of Banpo, certainly one for the curious and perfect to engage with the local culture and their past. Firsthand witness the archeological artefacts discovered in Banpo and even get the chance to walk around reconstructed houses that imitate the Yangshao culture, dating back 6000 years ago!
Then we will visit the Terracota Warriors & Horses Museum, lots of intricate terracotta sculptures that were made as a funerary memory and buried with the first Emperor of China, Shi Huang Mausoleum. It is so unique and surreal, you almost won’t believe your eyes! After, we will wander round the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum excavations, which is located around 1 and a half kilometers East of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum in Lintong, Xian. It was listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritages and is certainly a destination you must visit whilst in China!
A delicious lunch will be served in a local restaurant, after a morning of exploring. As we make our way back to downtown, we will visit the Terracotta Replication Factory that actually reproduces terracotta soldiers. Our tour guide will then drop you back at your hotel with some memories that will last a lifetime!. Overnight, Xian
